We now offer a cattle collection point at Smith Farms, south-
east of Butler, MO. on 52 Hwy. Trucks run every Friday and
Saturday to Ft. Scott.

  • Yard man on duty during the week and all night Friday to receive cattle and all night Saturday usually till noon on Sunday to load out. PLEASE NOTE:  if sale gets over early with a short run or they don't expect trucks in, they will get their chores done & lock up, it is not a given that our men will stay all night Saturday.   If Office has NOT been told to hold your check for pickup, they are NOT available for load-out guys to get for you.  Do not call load-out Phone# to pick up a check if door is locked!!  Sunday check pickup is an "iffy" situation, best to pickup Saturday or Monday if you can please.
  • PLEASE ADVISE THE OFFICE IF YOU WILL BE PICKING UP YOUR CONSIGNER CHECK OTHERWISE THEY WILL BE MAILED OUT ON MONDAY, OR THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, AFTER SATURDAY SALE. We mail both sale day checks out together on Monday, no mail goes out on Friday or Saturday.  Mail service seems to take a lot longer than it used to, can take up to 14 or 21 business days if it is delivered at all.  We have no control over the mail service & have complained about it to the post office but seems most of our mail has to go thru Kansas City & that is where the problem seems to be.  Even if you are 20 miles away & we sort our mail by zip code, it will most likely still have to be sent to KC....
  • THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!
