Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values sharply higher on moderate to fairly good demand and 
moderate offerings. Select and Choice round cuts steady to firm while rib,
chuck, and loin cuts firm to higher. Beef trimmings unevenly steady on light
demand and offerings.
