year ago. Chick placement week ended 03/21- 176 million, up 3% from a year ago.

03/27 - New York Daily Eggs
Prices are 3 cents lower on Medium and larger sizes. The undertone is lower. 
Supplies are mixed, but are usually fully sufficient to cover current needs. 
Offerings are moderate. Retail and distributive demand is moderate to fairly 
good. Market activity is moderate.
