Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values steady to weak on moderate demand and offerings. 
Select and Choice rib, round, and loin cuts steady to firm while chuck cuts 
weak. Beef trimmings lower on light to moderate demand and moderate offerings.

Weekly Egg Sets for the week ending 04/25 - 216 million, up 2% from eggs sets a 
year ago. Chick placement week ended 04/25- 179 million, up 3% from a year ago.

05/05 - New York Daily Eggs
Prices are 3 cents higher on Medium and larger sizes. The undertone is higher.  
Supplies vary, but are light to mostly moderate. The New York shell egg 
inventory is 13% more than last Monday. Retail demand is light. Offerings are 
light to moderate. Market activity is slow to moderate.
